Dr Deepak Moosad (Dr. D) was born in Bombay, India, and spent the majority of his younger years in Southern CA, where he received his earlier education. As a child, he always had new and uniqueideas. Dr. D attended Saint John Bosco High School and graduated with excellent grades and high ambitions. After graduation, he knew he wanted to do something different and make a difference.
In 2000, Dr. D joined the United States Air Force with a goal to do more for his country. He excelled in Avionics and received numerous accolades, quickly advancing in rank due to his attention to detail, innovative ideas, and leadership abilities.
While he served his country, Dr. D also continued to pursue higher education and attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Excelling in his studies, he graduated Magna Cum Laude (high honors) and received his Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Safety and Business Management.
Dr. D’s education and training in Aviation safety introduced him to the movements of the human body and led him to question the biomechanics of the body. Finding a parallel in the mechanics of a metal machine and the human body, he observed how everyday movements impacted the biomechanics of the body. As he worked with other military personnel, he recognized that everyday activities added stress to the human body. As a result, the body started to break down and impact the individual’s overall health.
After serving in the United States Air Force for 8 years and winning many accolades, Dr. D decided to pursue his passion for understanding the biomechanics of the human body. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and enrolled in Southern California University of Health Sciences. He was interested in human interaction, movement, and biomechanics and recognized the spine as the central engine of the human body, which led him to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
As he pursued a degree in Chiropractic, he still felt the need to contribute to his country and his community. Dr. D has spent countless hours providing treatment to our veterans by providing care at the multiple Southern California Veterans Hospitals. Dr. D has and continues to provide care to various community events such as: Healing Hand for Humanities, Dream Center, and Aids Life Cycle. He also contributed his time to the local community as he treated students at California State Los Angeles.
Dr. D graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences Magna Cum Laude (high honors). Due to his passion to contribute, provide care to alleviate pain and commitment to the local communities’ and military personnels’ health, Dr. D was elected and received the honor of becoming the Military Chair for the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. D’s passion to help and care for individuals was recognized by his school and he became the recipient of the E. Maylon Drake Humanitarian Award. Dr. D practices with dedication to providing quality and customized care for every patient.
