Dr Deepak Moosad (Dr. D) was born in Bombay India but spent majority of his younger years in Southern CA. He received his earlier year’s education in Southern California. Dr. D attended Saint John Bosco high school where he graduated as an excellent student and an ambitious young man. In his younger years he always had new and unique ideas and as he graduated from High School he wanted to do something different.
Dr. D joined the United States Air Force in 2000 because he wanted to do more for his country. In the Air Force he excelled in avionics and received numerous accolades. He advanced in the rank quickly due to his attention to detail, innovative ideas and leadership abilities. As he served his country Dr. D strived to pursue higher education and attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He excelled in his studies and graduated with Magna Cum Laude (high honors). Dr. D received his Bachelors of Science in aeronautics and received a minor in aviation safety and business management.
Dr. D’s education and training in aviation safety introduced him to the movements of the human body and led him to question the biomechanics of the body. He observed how our every day movements impacted the biomechanics of the body. As he worked with other military personnel, he recognized that the everyday activities added stress to the human body. As a result the body started to breakdown and impacted the individuals overall health.
After serving in the United States Air Force for 8 years and winning many accolades, Dr. D decided to pursue his passion for the human biomechanics. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force and enrolled in Southern California University of Health Sciences. His interest in human interaction, movement and biomechanics led him to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
As he pursued a degree in Chiropractic he still felt the need to contribute to his country and his community. Dr. D has spent countless hours providing treatment to our veterans by providing care at the multiple Southern California Veterans Hospitals. Dr. D has and continuous to provide care to various community events such as: Healing hand for Humanities, Dream Center, and Aids Life Cycle. He also contributed his time to the local community as he treated students at California State Los Angeles.
Dr. D graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a status of Magna Cum Laude (high honors). Due to his passion to contribute, provide care to alleviate pain and commitment to the local communities’ and military personals’ health, Dr. D was elected and received the honor of becoming the Military Chair for American Chiropractic Association. Dr. D passion to help and care for individuals was recognized by his school and he was the recipient of the E. Maylon Drake Humanitarian Award. Dr. D practices with dedication to providing quality and customized care for every patient.
